A nursing home is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join their team.
General Human Resources (HR) Specialist duties :
- Benefits and Leave administration, including FMLA
- Employee relations
- Onboarding
- Compliance
Payroll duties :
Time and Attendance entryPayroll Register Audit and ReviewUnderstanding Federal and State laws and regulations governing PayrollRecruiting duties :
Responsible for full cycle recruitmentConsult with hiring managers to ascertain needs within each departmentManage the job postings processReview resumes and pre-screen candidatesSchedule candidate interviews with hiring managersConduct phone and office interviewsUnderstand HR policies and practices related to benefits, work rules, pre-offer requirements, etc.Desired qualifications :
Healthcare experience requiredAt least 2 years of HR management experience, including recruitingAt least 2 years of payroll processing experienceStrong knowledge of Federal and NY employment laws and regulationsStaffing coordination experience preferredSalary : up to $70,000 per year
