Help Desk Technician III - eTools Technician

Job Summary :

Provide expertise in the management for user access to the United States Mobility Air Force's online systems and communications networked information systems, electronic documents, technical orders, mail; standard network configuration and operation systems, along with standard desktop configuration software and operation system and has the responsibility for the technical administration and operational monitoring of logistics systems.

Job Description :

• Interacts with Head Quarters (HQ) Air Mobility Command (AMC) A4 Program Managers to determine requirements support ing end users .
• Provide r esearch, design, and / or modifications for enterprise-wide systems and / or applications .
• Provide managerial guidance support ing the Logistics Information System in sortie generation and integrate with Maintenance Information Systems operations at HQ AMC and base level s .
• Provide end user support and guidance of the eTools (mobile devices, hand held devices, laptops, and computers) and Logistics Information System server environment within the Logistics community.
• Provide technical administration and operational m anagement of eTools and servers supporting strategic level programs :

Manage and / or perform equipment installations, peripheral connections, installation, and deletion of software consistent with standard configurations and / or established policies on government approved mobile devices, laptops, and computers (wired or wireless) for Logistics functions.

Research, document, provide recommendations, and estimates for yearly central purchasing .
