Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Discipline : RN

Duration : 13 weeks

40 hours per week

Shift : 12 hours, days

Employment Type : Travel

Requirements Experience : Recent PACU & Pre-op experience – Required

Minimum 2 years ICU experience – Required

Experience must be in a Level 1 trauma center (no surgicenter-only candidates)

Skills : Must be able to work independently and think critically

Able to monitor post-op recovery and manage anesthesia side effects

Strong EMR / charting and patient education skills

Certifications (All Required) : BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

PALS (AHA)

Preferred : CPAN, TNCC, CCRN

Education : RN License for Washington, DC – Required

Graduate of accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

BSN – Highly Desired
