Data Entry Team Lead (Open)

The Medicaid and Long-Term Care Division is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as the Data Entry Team Lead. Under general supervision, the Data Entry Team Lead provides work guidance to other members of a Medicaid Claims data processing team; maintains and operates the scanner equipment and data entry equipment; performs related work as required. As the Data Entry Team Lead, you will :

  • Oversee the training of unit processes and procedures to new staff and experienced staff.
  • Create documentation and training material that provides instruction on unit processes and procedures.
  • Enter billing data into systems and verify claims for accuracy.

Hiring Rate : $15.000 per hour Non-Exempt

Monday Friday; 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Dress Attire : Business Casual

Location : Lincoln Nebraska State Office Building

Requirements / Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications : Education or experience in operating, scanning, and data entry equipment.

  • One plus year of customer service experience and / or office / administrative experience.
  • Billing and data entry experience.
  • Experience with the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), as well as the Hyland OnBase ECM Imaging system, solid level of expertise in Word and Excel or other business hardware and software experience.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to maintain a minimum data entry rate of 8500 KPH with 95% accuracy. Accurate data entry and proofreading. Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of : scanning and data entry techniques and procedures; the techniques of guiding the work of others.
  • Ability to : operate the team's scanning and data entry equipment; file and retrieve materials using alphabetical and numerical filing systems; code information in accordance with an established system; read and understand scanning and data entry equipment operating manuals; communicate effectively.
