General Laborer Lincoln, NE

We are seeking a shop floor laborer to join our team in our powder coating company (Hot Kote). As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks in our shop floor to support the production and installation of fences and netting products.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lift at least 50lbs
  • Work and communicate effectively with others
  • Work in a non-air-conditioned environment
  • tolerate standing on concrete for extended time periods
  • Exercise spatial skills
  • Willingness to learn operations of other departments (washing and powder coating)
  • Recognize quality control issues
  • Packaging of completed materials
  • Operate a forklift
  • Operate basic shop machinery
  • Practice appropriate safety skills
  • Consistent work hours
  • Be on time
  • Keep work areas and tolls clean

Requirements :

  • Prior experience in a shop floor laborer role is preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
