Job Description

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Stepdown care is needed for a contract opportunity in Albany, GA. This role focuses on delivering exceptional nursing care in Cardiac Stepdown and general Stepdown units, supporting patients who require specialized monitoring and interventions.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and care for patients in the Stepdown unit, including cardiac patients requiring close observation.
Administer medications, treatments, and assessments in line with established protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide patient and family education on care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and interventions.

Desired Experience and Qualifications :

Valid RN license.

Proven experience working in Cardiac Stepdown or Stepdown nursing units.

Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and critical care principles.

Excellent clinical judgment, munication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and respond promptly to patient needs.
