Job Description

As the Senior Internal Auditor you will conduct comprehensive audits of internal financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Analyze data to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement. Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for management. Collaborate with various departments to understand business operations and risks. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and process improvements. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and industry regulations. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing. This role is on site and based in Portland, TX.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have : A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Four plus years of experience in Internal Audit from a large manufacturing environment or statutory audits with one of the Big 4 (Deloitte, KPMG, EY, or PWC). Knowledge of auditing standards and practices, including GAAP or IFRS. Proficiency in data analysis tools and accounting software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. This role is on site based in Portland, TX. They will relocate someone within the United States.
