Account Clerk I

Pay rate : $15.36 / hr.

Schedule : Monday – Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Job Duties :

Account Clerk I Duties for State & Estimated Taxes, Trustee, Parking Ticket, Animal Tag, Bankruptcy, and other Misc. items :

• Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
• Clerk mail for appropriate processing – cashier and / or Opex.
• Process payments.
• Data Entry – updating and maintaining records.
• Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person.
• Direct customers properly for additional assistance not available within our prevue.
• Maintain & update customer data
• Filing / scanning of paperwork.

Typing test required :

Typing- expecting a minimum of 35 WPM

Ten Key Test – expecting a minimum of 9,000 KPH

Minimum Qualifications :

High school or GED plus six (6) months' experience in fields providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities, such as bookkeeping or clerical accounting; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
