About the Opportunity
The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves coordinating and providing high-quality care through established clinical protocols in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. You'll play a vital role in supporting both patients and their families within a compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care following organizational policies and nursing protocols.Conduct thorough assessments and document findings accurately, alerting the care team to any changes in patient condition.Provide age-appropriate care and education based on developmental needs.Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects, documenting them in compliance with practice standards.Assist physicians during procedures while adhering to established competence and skill levels.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate personalized care plans.React promptly to medical emergencies and partake in life-saving interventions as required.Advocate for patient rights, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in care planning.Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge instructions.Implement adherence to infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.Monitor and operate necessary medical equipment to ensure patient safety.Promote a clean and safe environment aligning with National Patient Safety Goals.Participate in audits and compliance checks to uphold practice standards.Document patient care comprehensively and timely in medical records.Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and care delivery.OR Services RN Responsibilities :Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients pre, intra, and post-surgery.
Assist in the operating room by scrubbing in for surgeries, managing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient status during procedures.Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned and comply with all organizational policies and standards.Qualifications
0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or completion of clinical rotations in an acute care setting is required.Skills and Competencies
Strong nursing knowledge and application of clinical practices.Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and communicate effectively.Proficient in medication administration and monitoring.Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills in documenting care.Familiarity with safety standards, infection controls, and quality improvement practices.Licenses and Certifications
Valid RN - Registered Nurse State Licensure and / or Compact State Licensure required.BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required.ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.Additional requirements may be specified in facility guidelines.
