About The Position

Job Title : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Profession : Imaging Technologist

Specialty : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 3rd

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : One year of current clinical experience in each modality preferred

License : Current State license as a Radiographer

Certifications : ARRT registered, Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Densitometry within 18 months of hire / transfer

Must-Have : Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent

Description :

Prepare patients and perform imaging procedures.

Operate imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist and / or other providers.

Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.

Utilize appropriate radiation protection measures.

Adhere to organizational customer service standards.

Support organizational excellence initiatives.

Provide positive interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.

Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary.

Work in two or more of the following modalities : Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.

Other duties as assigned.
