  • This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and leadership skills to effectively manage our team of technical professionals while driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • The Account Manager is responsible for client retention and growth, leading a team of six to success.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, ensuring high performance and productivity.
  • Provide guidance, support, and expertise to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Drive success through constructive feedback and positive reinforcement of team members.
  • Sales Management :

  • Quote solutions and follow the sales process until deals are won.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing clients and provide proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of items to appropriate team members for execution.
  • Client Engagement :

  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive support, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and recommending tailored IT solutions.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring prompt resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct Strategic Business Reviews and maintain healthy client relationships.
  • Technical Expertise :

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to effectively advise clients and support the team.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to team members, leveraging your expertise to overcome technical challenges.
  • Coordinate solution design and presentation with the Lead Engineer.
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably within the MSP industry (minimum 4 years).
  • Strong sales and business development skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and security.
  • Professional Services Automation experience (ConnectWise Manage, N-Able, Accelo, Halo, Autotask, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Leadership qualities such as integrity, resilience, and the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Mobility and transportation to go onsite as required (arrangements can be made to bypass the weight requirement for disabled employees, however, mobility is a necessity).
  • Salary Range :
