Part-Time | Flexible Hours | Meaningful Work

Senior Helpers - South Tacoma is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver fluent in Japanese to support a senior client whose primary language is Japanese. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who values cultural sensitivity and enjoys making a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Pay Range : $21-$25 per hour (based on experience)

In addition to this assignment, you will also have the opportunity to pick up other open shifts that fit your schedule.

Position Details :

  • Location : Tacoma, WA
  • Schedule : Part-time hours (to be discussed during the interview)

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Engage in meaningful conversations and favorite hobbies
  • Assist with personal care such as dressing, grooming, and walking
  • Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Communicate updates on the client's condition and activities

    • Qualifications :

  • Fluent in Japanese
  • Passionate about caring for others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CNA or HCA certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • At least 18 years of age
