A company is looking for a Coding Auditor and Provider Educator - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Conducts coding audits and reviews medical record documentation for compliance and accuracy
Develops and delivers educational programs for physicians and clinical staff to improve coding practices
Assists in the development of internal coding policies and participates in compliance investigations
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) required
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in medical coding, with 3-5 years in auditing and education
Extensive knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding systems and compliance standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Electronic Health Record systems
