Join to apply for the Information Technology Specialist I role at Century Business Products & Catalyst IT . This position can be located in either Sioux Falls or Sioux City.
Responsibilities
- Log and process service requests from customers via telephone and online ticketing system.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic issues with client computers, servers, devices, peripherals, and networking equipment – both remotely and on-site at client facilities.
- Install and configure hardware components and software applications.
- Perform routine hardware and software maintenance on client computers, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure customer needs are met through timely follow-up and provide a high-quality customer experience with professional demeanor.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and documentation of services and time spent servicing customers.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify, develop, and document processes, procedures, and work instructions.
Qualifications
1 year+ of end-user support experience in a technology-related field, providing support for hardware, software, workstations, servers, and network infrastructure.Knowledge and experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite & Microsoft 365, and computer hardware components.Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.Experience working with ticket management and remote monitoring and management tools.Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with team members on projects, problem-solving, and day-to-day operations.Self-motivated and able to operate independently while balancing multiple projects, priorities, and client deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to instruct and support end-users with varying levels of technical experience.Training
Orientation will be provided upon hire. Ongoing professional training (in-house, webinars and applicable off-site 3rd party training / technology conferences) will be provided. Catalyst IT may request you to provide self-directed training through reading, research, webinars and other applicable media.
