Responsibilities Position is on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level IV at a children’s hospital Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00-07 : 00) Care includes well babies and attending deliveries as the resuscitation nurse Weekend shifts are required as needed Potential to float between like units and campuses within 20 miles, but inter-campus floating is rare Patient population includes neonatal intensive care cases Cerner EMR experience preferred Primary responsibilities include NICU care, well baby care, and responding to deliveries as the neonatal resuscitation nurse Holiday coverage required : must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays if all fall during assignment, or 1 of 2 if only two are included All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of application; late RTO requests will not be approved Dress code or scrubs guidance will be provided upon assignment Former staff must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler Requirements Active TN or compact RN license, no pending licensure accepted Minimum 2 years recent NICU Level IV experience required, 3 years preferred BSN preferred; ADN accepted if not specified as mandatory for this unit At least one completed previous travel assignment required Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility BLS and all required certifications must be current for the duration of the assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610736.
