Travel :
- Up to 10% Key Duties : Lead and support the preparation of electrical design deliverables, including 3D models, 2D drawings, material specifications, and installation details in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Model electrical rooms, equipment, raceways, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems using SmartPlant 3D, SmartSketch, AutoCAD, and related tools.
- Create bills of materials, perform electrical design calculations (e.g., lighting layouts with AGI 32, ground grid layouts with ETAP), and prepare procurement documentation using SpecsIntact.
- Coordinate design activities and resolve interface issues with other engineering disciplines, systems engineering, and clients to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
- Review and check design deliverables for quality, accuracy, and completeness; participate in constructability reviews and jobsite visits as required.
- Mentor and support less experienced designers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to Bechtel and industry design practices.
