Overview
The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership, student instruction, and student advising in the Welding and NDT programs. This person will instruct and evaluate students in one or more NDT methods, including but not limited to : liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiographic testing, and phased-array ultrasonic testing.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Technology, or closely related discipline. Required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
ASNT Level II or III in RT or UT NDT methods. PreferredCertified Welding Inspector-AWS PreferredEXPERIENCE
Five (5) years of combined industrial experience in non-destructive testing or welding. RequiredSuccessful teaching experience. PreferredExperience with outcomes assessment and / or ABET accreditation. PreferredABILITIES AND SKILLS

Instruct and evaluate students in one or more NDT methods, including but not limited to : liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiographic testing, and phased-array ultrasonic testing.Advise, schedule, and maintain accurate records on students.Maintain regular office hours and fulfill all other duties and responsibilities according to contractual guidelines.Write and update course syllabi; assist with curriculum review, revision, and development.Assume responsibility for laboratory development, coordination, and maintenance.Engage in professional development and technological upgrading activities.Contribute to betterment of College through School wide committee participation.Contribute to betterment of College through College wide committee participation. (Marginal)Assume responsibility for laboratory development, coordination, and maintenance.Attend School and department meetings as requested by the Dean, Assistant Dean, and / or Department Head.Participate in program review.Assist the Dean, Assistant Dean, and / or Department Head with the development and maintenance of outcomes assessment plans and documentation.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Pay TransparencyCommensurate with credentials submitted as applied to the College’s Faculty Salary System. As a point of reference, the salary range for new full-time faculty hired in various disciplines throughout the College for the 2025 / 26 academic year is $61,969 – $79,813 College Statement
