Bellecour Bistro, Gavin Kaysen’s French-influenced bistro in the North Loop neighborhood of Downtown Minneapolis, is looking for Baristas  to create a welcoming and exceptional experience for guests of Bellecour’s daytime service. They will take guest orders, expertly prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages, and assist in delivering food to tables. A deep understanding of our menus, ingredients, and baking / cooking techniques is essential to provide informed recommendations and answer guest inquiries with confidence.

Timeline : Training to begin mid-November for an anticipated late November opening.

Required Skill Set and Knowledge :

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of bakery and café menus, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to memorize and recall menu details and ingredients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and operating POS systems.
  • Stand on your feet for up to 10 hours.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
