Job Title : Operator

Reports to : Plant Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary :

This role operates all machines in a safe and efficient way. This Team Member oversees the production line as well as the packaging of confectionery products. This is a full-time position with the working hours being 5 : 00am-3 : 30pm. Monday-Friday. Overtime hours will be Friday and Saturday.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Ensure that Team Members are producing and packaging fine quality products in a safe, secure, and sanitary manner within the appropriate specifications outlines by company managers.

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Learn to operate all machines in the Repack department safely and efficiently
• Make cases for product whenever possible
• Check product and bags for quality on a regular basis
• Pull full loads to the warehouse with hand jack or power jack
• Keep a count on finished products
• Assist and work alongside others on the line when needed
• Always keep work area and machine clean and clear
• Troubleshoot, solve and fix minor machine problems as they arise
• Train other employees as needed
• Immediately let the Supervisor know when a problem arises with a machine, quality of product or film
• This role requires the ability to verbally communicate proficiently in English to effectively engage with internal teams. Applicant must be proficient in reading and understanding English-language manuals, equipment, instructions, and other documents relevant to the role.
