Data Center Technician I (Finance)

Summary
The Data Center Technician I plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence and cleanliness standards of our controlled environments. This position ensures that all surfaces, including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors, are meticulously maintained to meet the strict cleanliness guidelines required in a data center setting.
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleanings are completed promptly and correctly.
- Participate in continuous training : Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
- Perform micro-cleaning of all surfaces within the general and critical environment including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.
- Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
- Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
- Review changes to SOP / SOW documentation and re-train.
- Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
- All other duties as defined by supervisor.
Qualifications
Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Pass a background check and I-9Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or GED; or one-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Physical Requirements
