Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a MD or compact RN license and a minimum of two years of recent L&D experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Handle laboring mothers and newborns within a large facility setting

Assignment is 8 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Every other weekend required

Holiday shifts required as needed

No on-call requirement

Perform comprehensive care for laboring mothers and immediate newborn needs

Adhere to a 60-mile radius rule; local candidates not accepted for this assignment

Scrub attire required while working on the unit

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license required

Minimum two years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Experience in facilities with 500+ beds required

Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM
