Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you'll prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.

- as it's discovered What you bring to the table : A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Proficient knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions Participates in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedule, budget and equipment required for testing and evaluating new systems, products and special devices Executes the test approach and documents system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle Generate system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products Develops and conducts functional, environmental, operational, and / or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems Assists with the design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing Isolates and documents issues and defects Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle Researches and analyzes data, such as customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application Keeps abreast of technology trends What sets you apart : Proficient use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories related to RF and GPS / Navigation Systems Contributes to the development of new theories and methods related to RF and GPS / Navigation Systems Proficient knowledge and experience with SAFE Agile process Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Proficient written and verbal communications skills Ability to think creatively Good at multi-tasking Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions Proficient ability to clearly report information relevant to sound test engineering Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments Proficient ability to promote concepts and ideas to a diverse audience
