The Financial Examiner will be responsible for planning, conducting and reviewing financial examinations, including key-functional activities. Identifying and assessing controls as well as performance of substantive testing An IT Examiner should have sufficient knowledge, background and experience to perform the IT portion of a financial examination, which may include, but is not limited to, obtaining certifications such as the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), sponsored by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). # Responsibilities : Work with supervisor to ensure that an early, proactive project plan is in place for areas assigned. Encourage team to consider / suggest ways to improve prior approach or documentation. Strive to perform tasks that add value. Review team's qualifications to ensure adequate staffing, communicate any concerns with supervisor. Work with supervisor / EIC to determine reasonable initial scopes, timelines, and budgets.In the role of an EIC, monitor project status and work with supervisor to ensure vacations, holidays, and work travel do not threaten deadlines.In the role of an EIC, strive for early identification of issues that impact time and expenses and work with supervisor to manage these issues. Work with supervisor on initial planning to ensure Noble team members understand the project and their responsibilities.Work with supervisor to make sure the approach to the engagement and work plan are appropriate.Assign engagement responsibilities to Staff as needed on an engagement based on instructions from supervisor. Look for opportunities to expand Noble's role on a project. Increase industry knowledge and stay abreast of industry news and relevant accounting issues. Be prepared to hand off duties on the project to another team member. Preferred Requirements / Qualifications : Auditing experience at a CPA firmor insurance company.Prior insurance regulatory experience.
