A progressive healthcare facility is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate MRI Technologist to join its imaging team. This role involves operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct MRI exams with attention to detail, ensuring proper patient positioning, identification, and comfort.
- Review and follow safety screening protocols for all patients prior to scanning.
- Operate MRI systems and related equipment, ensuring images are properly captured, stored, and accessible in PACS / RIS.
- Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients and their families during procedures.
- Keep imaging areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and infection-control standards.
- Stay current on new techniques, protocols, and best practices within MRI technology.
- Qualifications :
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology.
- Active ARRT (MR) certification required.
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
- At least 2 years of MRI experience preferred; must demonstrate proficiency in all core imaging procedures.
