Sheet Metal Fabrication Manager

This opportunity is a direct hire position with our client, a manufacturer located in Pompano Beach, FL. This is not through an agency or a contract position. You will be hired by our client on day one, and they offer a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Our client is a leader in manufacturing machine shop fabrication. They are established, stable, and growing.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in metal fabrication and some leadership skills, looking for a long-term opportunity to grow into a plant operations leadership role.

Must have experience in manufacturing metal fabrication and welding. This position is ideal for someone with relevant experience in CNC high-precision metal fabrication and welding in a machine shop, who wants to progress into management. The candidate will receive training for a leadership role.

Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years experience working in a sheet metal fabrication machine shop
• Minimum 3 years managing production
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory / management / leadership role
• Minimum 3 years experience / knowledge of TIG and MIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Good math skills and experience with measuring tools
• Ability to lead a team
• Ability to perform professionally under pressure
• Seeking a long-term growth opportunity
• Good computer skills : MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
