Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist experienced with EPIC and Level 1 Trauma for a weekend day shift contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • General radiology department
  • Day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • 20-week contract assignment with 36 hours per week
  • Adult and trauma patient population
  • Performs radiographic procedures including administration of IV and oral / rectal contrast as appropriate
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Responsibilities include acquiring and processing exams, reviewing cases with radiologists, administering contrast, and ensuring imaging quality standards
  • Must recognize and respond to adverse reactions and maintain environment and equipment safety
  • Expected to help with student and new staff instruction as needed
  • No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Requested time off may not exceed 7 days during a 13-week contract
  • Returning travelers must have a 6-month break after one year of assignment before returning
  • No travel partners accepted
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a radiologic technologist
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • IEMA Radiography License (Illinois) required if applicable
  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification required
  • Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma environment required
  • Ability to independently perform and coordinate multiple technical procedures
