LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Oncology MD in West Virginia! About The Position We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia, starting Dec 22, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts, typically from 8am until the last patient is treated, usually by 4 : 30pm. The assignment involves a mix of on-treatment visits, new consults, and follow-ups. Candidates should have recent experience in radiation oncology and current certifications in ACLS and BLS. Job Details Location : West Virginia Start Date : Dec 22, 2025 LOA : 10 days Provider Type Needed : Radiation Oncologist Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am until the last patient is treated (typically by 4 : 30pm) Responsibilities and Duties Conduct 25-30 on-treatment visits once per week See 6-8 patients daily, including new consults and follow-ups Perform 5-7 new consults per week Manage 10-15 follow-up patients per week (with some follow-ups potentially rescheduled to the permanent provider) Deliver high-quality patient care consistent with the standards of radiation oncology Additional Information Must hold a valid West Virginia medical license Required board certification in Radiation Oncology Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Recent experience in radiation oncology preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
