The Department of Specialty Courts oversees the Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Veterans Treatment Court programs, collectively referred to as Specialty Courts, which are similarly structured and supervised with the goal of helping participants overcome substance use disorder and make a positive change in their lives. The Administrative Office of the Courts, Department of Specialty Courts, has an immediate opening for a Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist in Franklin County but will serve statewide.
Position characteristics
- Continuity of Quality Improvement Specialist focused on oversight of the quality and consistency of department initiatives, services, and implementation practices.
- Measure education and professional development initiatives in the field; evaluate internal processes to assess gaps in efficient operations and promote system integrity.
- Analyze data, generate recommendations for improvement, and deliver solution-focused guidance in a positive, collaborative manner.
- Develop timelines and strategies for evaluation milestones; facilitate CQI-related educational activities for departmental staff; oversee and manage improvement implementation with management collaboration.
- Must be highly self-motivated with strong analytical and decision-making skills to support continuous improvement; ability to work independently and with others.
- Participate in the Implementation Science Network and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities (Examples of Duties or Responsibilities)
Possess strong organizational and positive communication skills.Gather and analyze data.Develop CQI audit tools consistent with departmental policy, procedures, and established correctional guidelines and standards.Conduct evaluations of department incorporation of overarching initiatives.Evaluate direct service delivery and internal procedures; generate finding reports for department leadership based on data or trends identified to inform policies and procedures.Provide analytical input to support continuous improvement and implement improvement plans.Develop and monitor timelines for evaluation milestones.Oversee and manage improvement implementation needs in collaboration with management.Practice excellent time management skills.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements

Compensation
Base pay range
$41,967.84 / yr - $55,859.52 / yr
