Responsibilities :

  • Receive customer orders by telephone, fax, and other electronic means and enter data
  • Discuss delivery times, issues and handle customer concerns
  • Create sales order numbers for orders and communicate with customers
  • Communicate and distribute orders to production and shipping
  • Create shipping papers for shipments
  • Contact and dispatch drivers for shipments; posting time in and out for each shipment - Keeping log of drop trailers and shipments
  • Keep records of customer interaction and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints and comments as well as actions taken.
  • May work on special projects / assignments upon request.
  • Oversee double check shipping decks, scheduling, STO and Inventory Stock
  • Each evening pull SAP requirement for next day pour line schedule and compare with customer orders, Inv. Levels, and status with QA test results
  • Understand customer forecasts and compare with inventory levels, current peaks and valleys in demand and issue STOs to sister facilities
  • Manage opportunities on dispo and scrap material
  • Build relationships with customer and internal partners
  • Direct involvement with all involved in inventory management.
  • Daily maintenance of OTIF files related to customer delivery results.

Qualifications :

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each principal job duty satisfactorily.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent data entry skills a must
  • Experience with SAP is desired
  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication and written skills
