The Position :

As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for all salaried (management) positions within your region, as well as supporting the hiring of high-volume hourly roles within our venue by acting as a guide and resource to our Venue Management teams. In addition to managing a requisition load, the Recruiter will be responsible for supporting a variety of projects and functions within their area of responsibility, such as systems implementation & maintenance, data analysis & reporting, candidate experience, talent assessment, hiring manager training, and more!

A successful Recruiter will have excellent communication skills, a broad range of knowledge across technical and professional positions, and a keen eye for talent. An ideal candidate will be skilled at balancing their work load to fill their assigned positions within a timely manner, while also using their creativity to build out innovative processes and systems that support an effective Talent Acquisition function in a fast-pace and high growth organization.

This is a hybrid position, requiring three (3) days on site at our Home Office in Chicago (River North), IL.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full-cycle hiring process for all assigned positions within Corporate (Home Office) and the Field (Venues), from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
  • Ensure posting and tracking of requisitions and candidate data within ATS to ensure accurate reporting of key metrics such as Time to Fill, Quality of Hire, Number of hires, Offer Declines, Source of hire, etc.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including Ad spend, resume mining, LinkedIn reach out, etc. while championing DE&I efforts to create a diverse and equitable candidate pool.
  • Conduct thorough in-take meetings and foster positive relationships with hiring managers to ensure effective screening of applicants and use of discretion to advance or disposition candidates accordingly.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to ensure a consistent and fair hiring process according to best practices and established interview guidelines.
  • Champion a positive candidate experience by conducting timely and informative phone screens, providing consistent communications and updates, and ensuring proper and timely dispositioning or advancing of candidates.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to manage the internal candidate process for promotions and transfers, including the tracking of applications, review of eligibility, facilitation of interview process, and offer extensions.
  • Conduct and review background check results, partnering with Director of TA on adverse and pre-adverse action processes.
  • Work together as a Talent Acquisition Team to develop system & reporting capabilities, document SOPs, support Hiring Manager trainings, and enhance the Employer Brand.
  • Regularly review Job Descriptions for accuracy and partner with Hiring Managers and HR teams to create or update Job Descriptions as needed.
  • Regularly communicate with Hiring Managers within your assigned region to ensure they have the resources and tools to attract, evaluate, and hire for high volume hourly roles, including managing system access, job postings, job ad spend, etc.
  • Plan and participate in hiring events and job fairs for both existing and new venue openings.
  • Partner with Director of Talent Acquisition to continuously create and document departmental SOPs and Policies, as well as creation of training materials for Hiring Manager training.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or work equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a full-cycle Recruiter in a corporate setting, including at least 1 year of experience filling Senior Level Management and / or Professional positions.
  • Experience within the hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or similar industry is preferred
  • Highly proficient in Talent Acquisition technology systems and vendors, such as HRIS, ATS, Job Boards, etc.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including the use of Microsoft Forms.
  • Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality across a variety of sensitive topics.
  • Ability to juggle a high-volume of salaried requisitions while also managing a variety of projects and other assigned duties.
  • Ability to prioritize time sensitive projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary to Venue locations as needed, both locally and nationally.
  • Physical Requirements :

    Physical activities on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; frequent use of telephone / video conferencing and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting, up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is

    typically low to moderate. Travel may be required both locally and regionally and some days may include standing and walking for up to 8 hours a day.
