About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist for a 160-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in Illinois. The assignment begins on 06 / 30 / 2025, with a potential for extension. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8a-4p or 9a-5p, with no call or weekend duties. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with CT, MRI, ultrasound, x-ray, fluoroscopy, musculoskeletal, neuro, and nuclear medicine imaging. The position involves reading 100-120 studies per day, primarily from the ER, including CT, ultrasound, plain film, and nuclear medicine. Some MRI and MSK studies are also included, but the main focus is on CT, ultrasound, plain film, and nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Interpret 100-120 radiological studies per day
  • Read and analyze CT, ultrasound, x-ray, and nuclear medicine images
  • Provide expertise in MRI and musculoskeletal imaging as needed
  • Collaborate with emergency department and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Ensure timely reporting of diagnostic findings
  • Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
