We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in New York. Starting Dec 1, 2025, this role features Monday through Friday day shifts and includes both weekday and weekend call coverage. The assignment involves a diverse case mix without cardiac, neurosurgical, or thoracic cases.

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm; weeknight call 7pm-7am; 24-hour weekend call 7am-7am

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, endoscopy, vascular, obstetric, orthopedic, bariatric surgery, and urogynecology cases
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff
  • Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status during procedures
  • Adhere to all protocols and standards of care for anesthesia delivery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Additional Information

  • NBCRNA certification required
  • New York state license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • No cardiac, neurosurgical, or thoracic cases
