As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help provide a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule : DayTime Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all circumstances.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats.Monitor access points and perform security-related checks to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while providing guidance and support as needed.Document incidents, observations, and / or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as necessary to address incidents and / or emergencies on the premises.What We're Looking For :

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
