Our client is a well-established, privately held real estate developer and general contractor with a strong national presence and a growing footprint in Massachusetts. Known for delivering high-quality multifamily and mixed-use projects, they offer a collaborative culture, long-term stability, and a commitment to excellence in construction. The Massachusetts team is currently managing multiple ground-up multifamily projects, each valued between $25M-$35M, with timelines ranging from 1-2 years. The company is expanding locally and looking for leaders who can grow with them.

Job Description

Manage and oversee daily construction site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless execution of all project phases. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Monitor project progress and address any potential delays or issues proactively. Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and clients to align on project goals. Ensure quality control by conducting regular inspections and resolving any discrepancies. Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and change orders. Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to address on-site challenges.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have :

• Oversee the financial health of the project from preconstruction through delivery
• Negotiate and execute subcontractor agreements
• Ensure safe, on-time, on-budget operations that meet quality standards
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, with regular updates and presentations
• Build strong client / owner relationships and support business development
• Lead and mentor the project team
