Responsibilities : The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care, guides patient / family education, and supports other nursing personnel while maintaining professional standards of care. Deliver direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice. Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to ensure safe and effective patient care. Monitor and assess patients’ clinical conditions, including vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and response to treatments. Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient conditions, diagnostic results, and symptomatology. Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response. Provide guidance and supervision to other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care. Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications : EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. 4. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 5. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. 6. Ventilator Management experience preferred. 7. Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred. 8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
