Forklift Operator

The chosen candidate will play a versatile role within our facility, taking on various responsibilities and tasks. Cross-training on all processes within the facility is a key aspect of this position, ensuring a well-rounded understanding and capability across different operations.

Responsibilities

• Lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
• Break down raw materials as required.
• Fill sacks and stack them on pallets for the forklift operator to move.
• Transport pallets of material from one location to another within the facility.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and potentially front-end loaders.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled facility. The shop floor can be dusty, and some tasks may require working outside of the shop.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
