RN Recovery Room Nights

Job Requirements\n\nSIGN ON BONUS $10,000.00 Eligible Experienced RN\n\nWe are hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Recovery Room team!\n

• Nights; 2000 to 0830\n\nThe Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is located on the 2nd floor of Spartanburg Medical Center next to the Operating Room. The main recovery area has 26 beds (all monitored and includes 2 isolation rooms). The population served is all patients who have had surgery or been anesthetized except CABG and neonatal patients. (Out of OR cases include : endoscopy, MRI, Laser Lead Extractions, blood patch, TEE, Cardioversion, CT, and IR cases). This department goals are the following : \n
• To Meet and sustain Core Measures\n
• Educate and transition nursing and medical staff to usage of protocols for better patient outcomes and perioperative throughput\n
• Facilitate teamwork amongst all perioperative areas\n\nThe Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient nursing care to patients in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The RN demonstrates clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. The RN demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways / care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for support associates. The RN will collaborate with leadership in developing and implementing the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's culture, Mission, Vision, and Values. Associates are encouraged to engage and support Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's involvement in the communities we serve.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\nEducation\n
• Graduate of an approved / accredited School of Nursing\n\nLicense / Registration / Certifications\n
• Current RN licensure in the State of South Carolina or Compact State\n
• BLS - may secure certification post-hire\n\nPreferred Experience\n
• One Year of Recent RN experience within the past 5 years
