Restaurant General Manager (Level Two Sommelier)
Salary : $100,000 – $110,000 annually
Job Purpose Statement
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager, recognized as a Certified Sommelier (Level II) or higher, to lead Dynamite Woodfire Grill—the signature dining experience within Omaha’s award-winning hotel The Farnam. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality leader who thrives on building strong team culture, delivering personalized guest experiences, and leading with both integrity and vision. As the driving force behind our high-end wood-fired dining experience, you will help shape a Forbes-influenced service environment while maintaining a wine program recognized by Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellence in service, food, and beverage.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high performing team with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
- Cultivate a service culture aligned with Forbes standards
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to maintain a world-class wine and dining program.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Drive guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
- Maintain Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence status
Requirements
Certified Sommelier certification (Level II) required, Advanced Sommelier certification (level III) preferred.Proven leadership skills with a track record of building strong, cohesive teams.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Forbes service experience is a strong plus.Other :
