Cardiac Sonographer (Virginia Beach)

Are you passionate about heart health and skilled in echocardiography? Were looking for a Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiograph Technician) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, youll play a vital part in diagnosing heart disease through advanced imaging and stress testing procedures.

What Youll Do

Perform echocardiograms, stress tests (with and without echo), contrast studies, and saline bubble studies.

Prepare patient documentation and review cardiac history prior to testing.

Collaborate with physicians to ensure timely and accurate testing.

Conduct transthoracic 2D echo studies and stress echocardiography following established protocols.

Record and manage patient data using Athena Health.

Assist with other clinical duties as needed.

What Were Looking For

Education : Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred.

Certifications : Current BLS or ACLS and Sonography Registry credentials.

2 years experience strongly preferred

Skills :

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in medical terminology and echocardiography protocols.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and troubleshoot equipment.

Detail-oriented with excellent time management.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Clear hearing and speech for patient interaction.

Manual dexterity for handling equipment.
