Join us at the Good Samaritan Society - Specialty Care Community, a 96-bed facility, provides rehabilitation therapy in both our young adult and geriatric communities following a hospitalization or serious illness. Our 3 floors are separated into 2 self-contained wings each that house 16 residents all with private rooms that include wheelchair / lift accessible shower and toilet, dining area, and nurses station. Providing administrative support and coordination of activities for specific teams of people. May include but not limited to answering telephone, taking messages and answering routine questions.
Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, presentations, billing, reimbursement, or monthly reports. Maintaining vacation schedule and managing schedules for the department. Order and dispense supplies. May perform payroll functions, such as maintaining timekeeping information, processing and submitting to payroll. May maintain master copies of company policy and procedure manuals; keeping them up-to-date.
Complete scheduling and staffing functions for the nursing department. Perform hiring functions such as interviews and drug screens for new candidates. Conduct routine general orientation for new hires.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Applicable experience preferred. Based on facility needs, may require a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
