We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant Level I to join our growing finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with foundational accounting experience who is eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. The Staff Accountant Level I will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Responsible for A / P invoice processing, including matching them to purchase orders, verifying pricing and quantities, ensuring proper approvals, as well as investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Responsible for A / R invoice processing, including recording incoming payments, applying them to corresponding customer accounts, managing electronic remittances
• Responsible for recording A / P and A / R invoices details into QuickBooks as well as maintaining proper documentation
• Prepare A / P payment batches, including checks or electronic transfers
• Maintain vendor records, including contact information and payment terms
• Assist with quarterly and month-end closing, including performing account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, record keeping, and other financial closing related tasks
• Provide support for internal and external audit requests timely and effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all data, records, files, etc.
• Address ad hoc requests as assigned
• Assisting in Travel & Expense (T&E) compliance.
• Playing a key role in ERP and systematic upgrades and / or efficiency initiatives.
• Exercising integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, and complying with federal, state, and local financial requirements.
