First Commerce Credit Union is growing - and we're looking for a bold, strategic, and service-focused Mortgage Processing and Compliance Manager to lead our mortgage operations with precision and purpose.

What You'll Do :

Lead and manage a team of mortgage and HELOC / HELoan processors, closers, and quality assurance professionals.
Oversee the full mortgage lifecycle - from processing and closing to post-closing and secondary market sales.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (RESPA, TILA, HMDA, etc.).
Develop and implement workflows, SLAs, and quality control measures to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor loan pipelines and implement strategies to meet production and funding goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with loan officers, underwriters, servicers, and vendors to ensure a smooth member experience.
Resolve escalated member inquiries with professionalism and care.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance goals and uphold service standards.
Analyze loan profitability and manage rates for loans sold or retained in portfolio.

What You Bring :

5+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly desired.

Strong knowledge of mortgage products, loan origination systems (Encompass), and compliance regulations.

Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

NMLS registration (or ability to obtain and maintain registration).
