Weld Engineer Technologist

The following are some activities you will be taking on in the role : Developing and Implementing Welding ProceduresEnsuring that all welds meet specified quality standards and industry codes. Investigating and resolving problems related to welding processes, materials, or equipment. Identifying opportunities to improve welding efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Creating and delivering training programs for welders on new processes, equipment, or safety procedures. Evaluating welders' skills and qualifications, and providing feedback to improve their performance. Working with the facilities team to monitor weld equipment and facilitating repairs or replacements as needed. Working with engineers, designers, and others to ensure that welding processes align with overall project requirements.

Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, metallurgy, and quality control principles. Ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to analyze welding defects and develop effective solutions. Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment. Detail oriented is essential for ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to specifications.

A degree in Welding Engineering Technology or a related field is necessary. Experience in welding, manufacturing, or related industries is valuable.
