Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Location : North East, MD

Pay Rate : $20 / hour

Contract Length : 8 weeks

Start Date : ASAP

Openings :

  • Full-Time (4 openings) :
  • 2 Weekend Lead : Fri 3 : 00pm10 : 15pm, Sat / Sun 7 : 00am10 : 15pm (36 hrs / week)
  • 1 Overnight : Sun 10 : 00pm8 : 30am, MonWed 11 : 15pm8 : 30am (36 hrs / week)
  • 1 FriSun : Hours TBD
  • PRN (23 openings) : Flexible shifts available

Requirements :

  • Hands-on CNA experience and / or recent group home experience
  • Experience with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities (CCR is a DDA Provider)
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • CPR certification required
  • Willingness to complete DDA, MANDT & Choking Dysphagia training
  • EMR : iCareManager

    • Responsibilities :

  • Support residents in daily living activities including bathing, feeding, medication administration (including G-tube), and housekeeping
  • Follow person-centered plans and assist with goal planning
  • Use Hoyer lifts and assist with mobility
  • Maintain professional appearance and hygiene standards
