Location : Akron, Ohio, USA Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Type : Travel Schedule : 3x12s Nights Time : 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities of the MedSurg / Tele RN

Provide compassionate, comprehensive care to patients on MedSurg / Telemetry units

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, patient vitals, and respond to urgent changes

Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in line with hospital protocols

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active Ohio or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum of 2 years' recent MedSurg / Telemetry experience

Strong adaptability and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
