TMG Global is seeking a reliable Technical Delivery Consultant (Contractor) for a 3-month contract in Brownsville, Texas. This 1099 position involves hands-on work managing warehouse deliveries, technical deployments, and site surveys for technology rollouts. To thrive as a Warehouse Technician at TMG Global, you will need a strong foundation in IT, demonstrated by an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with relevant certifications considered a plus. Your 2+ years of experience in technical deployments, site surveys, or IT field work will be invaluable. Familiarity with development life cycles and IT infrastructure will enable you to navigate projects effectively. Experience using a laptop to console into network switches is essential, as is your knowledge of VLANs, IP addressing, and CCNA-level concepts. An ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently is crucial, alongside excellent organizational and communication skills, to collaborate effectively with remote project managers and field teams.

You must have a reliable vehicle and provide your own laptop to ensure you can perform your role efficiently.

Responsibilities :

Accept and organize deliveries in the warehouse

Oversee and assist with hardware deployments and system installations

Conduct site surveys for power, cabling, and layout readiness

Document work progress and maintain deployment logs

Lift and move equipment weighing 50+ lbs as needed

Collaborate remotely with project managers and field teams

Requirements :

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (certifications a plus)

2+ years of experience in technical deployments, site surveys, or IT field work

Familiarity with IT infrastructure, Microsoft Office (EXCEL) and project management methodologies

Experience using a laptop to console into network switches; knowledge of VLANs, IP addressing, and CCNA-level concepts

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Must provide your own laptop and have a reliable vehicle

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Deployments and site surveys will be at 2 different locations in the Brownsville area

On-site availability Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m.
