We require :
Three years of experience operating trucks and equipmentHigh school diploma or GEDMust possess a valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Endorsements may be required for some job assignmentsState and federal regulations require Maricopa County to conduct a pre-employment safety history investigation for all positions that require an applicant to possess a commercial driver's license (CDL). Maricopa County is also required to conduct a pre-employment safety history investigation for positions that directly impact commercial motor vehicle safety, but may not specifically require a valid CDLJob Contributions :
Operate a variety of medium to large-sized construction and maintenance equipment / vehicles in accordance with all safety regulations and proceduresPlan and prioritize work tasks; read and interpret plans, drawings, and specificationsPerform heavy manual labor assignments as needed and assist work crews as requiredComplete required daily logs and prepare reports; attend safety meetings and other required meetings and mandatory trainingHaul materials and transport vehicles, and equipment to job sites using various trucksOther job duties as assignedWorking Conditions :
Exerting 50 - 100 pounds occasionally, 10 - 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 - 20 pounds constantlyPosition is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditionsIncumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travelCDL Selection Procedure :
