Forms Tester #1 would start on or around 11 / 01 / 25 and the position would end on April 30, 2026.

It would be a part-time role at 4 hours per day for 6 months.

Forms Tester #2 would start on or around 12 / 01 / 2025 and the position would end on April 30, 2026.

It would be a part-time role at 4 hours per day for 5 months.

Responsibilities

• Testing forms for accessibility, identifying issues, and providing remediation recommendations. Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and experience in identifying and documenting accessibility issues.
• Primary Responsibilities :
• Use assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver and Adobe Acrobat) to test form accessibility.
• Identify issues related to keyboard navigation, focus order, label associations, ARIA usage, poor color contrast, and error handling in forms.
• Document and report accessibility defects clearly, referencing specific WCAG success criteria, including the severity of the issue and potential solutions.
• Providing clear and actionable recommendations for remediating accessibility issues
• Stay updated on accessibility laws, standards, and evolving best practices throughout the project.
• Document issues : Create detailed bug reports that clearly explain accessibility defects, their impact on users, and their reference to specific WCAG success criteria.
• Validate fixes : Retest defects after remediation to verify that accessibility issues have been properly resolved
• Test to ensure business logic works as expected to verify nothing changed during the remediation process.
• Work with the Department of Revenue Taxpayer Services Division (TSD) team to address accessibility concerns and ensure accessibility is integrated into the form design process
