This Plant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, quality standards, and safety compliance while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment within the Finishing department. The Plant Supervisor will coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment to meet production goals, minimize downtime, and continuously improve processes.

Requirements : Essential Duties :

  • Coordinate and monitor production activities across multiple departments to ensure workflow continuity and efficiency.
  • Analyze the production process to proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or disruptions.
  • Address personnel matters promptly, including employee conflicts, interpersonal challenges, and performance concerns, to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with managers and fellow plant supervisors, including clear and timely email correspondence.
  • Assess employee strengths and assign team members to roles that maximize productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Respond swiftly and appropriately to workplace accidents, injuries, and emergency situations, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Inspect products and materials for defects, monitor production tickets, and oversee print and quality control standards to ensure compliance.
  • Generate and review production reports, maintaining detailed shift records that track gains, losses, and time efficiency metrics.

    • Essential Competencies / Qualifications :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week
  • General knowledge of the 4 / C printing process
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, have a plant-wide vision, and manage time effectively.
