Dakota County Lumber is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented leader to manage our Finance and Shared Services department. This dual-role position combines Human Resources leadership with a strong focus on accounts payable and day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
- Administer benefits, payroll, and performance management systems
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations and conflict resolution
- Support leadership with workforce planning and development
Finance (Accounts Payable Focus)
Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment schedulingReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerMaintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal controlsSupervise shared services functions such as office administration, and vendor managementCollaborate with external accountantsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingPay Range : $70,000 - $90,000 / year
